11 truck drivers at Nadapal isolation centre in Turkana want to be released to home-based care program

11 truck drivers who are quarantined at the Nadapal isolation centre in Turkana County after testing positive for the virus, want to be released to the home-based care program over deplorable conditions at the centre.

The drivers, who have been at the centre for a month and a half, claim they are being ignored by the health workers, and not given the proper care required for Covid-19 patients.

They also claim they are forced to cook for themselves, and also lack essential medicine.
